So you wanna work for an Ace Hardware part-time or full-time employee? Well beware because they don't give a fuck about how hard you as an individual works. They only care how everyone as whole works. And that my friend determines what kind of raises you will get come employee review time. I have been working there for 3 years in January and i have only gotten a 25 cent raise since then. And that had to of been a year and a half ago.
Well i have been pushing for a new raise for a long time because i feel I deserve it and so do all the managers that work with me. Unfourtuantly my head manager doesnt make the raise decisions. He can only advise who should get them..to the owener. Who, because of this program they have, has decided I'm worth nothing more than another quarter an hour to this company. I have the most work experience out of any of the part-timers there and can run that place pretty smoothly but yet i dont get the 7.00 an hour i wanted. My manager even said that i deserve a minimum of 7.00 an hour.
So anyway i told Mack (my manager) to tell Craig (the owner) that i will be leaving Ace if i dont get a decent pay raise. So hopefully he will see that hes losing a guy with great experience that helps out alot of the kids around that dont know as much.
